Our Story
Genesis Hair Care was created by Tajuana Hammonds, a celebrity hairstylist in the beauty and entertainment industry. Providing exquisite hair products for the designer look, it combines the fashion appeal of New York with the flair of the South. The Genesis range of products is designed for wavy, kinky and curly hair, and includes cleansers, conditioners, moisturizers and more.
Tajuana Hammonds has worked with recording artist Nappy Roots, Asher Roth, Bobby Valentino' and Angie Stone. She has also worked with television shows MTV's Sweet 16 and BET’s Welcome to Dreamland, and featured in Upscale Magazine, PZI Jeans ads and IBS New York.
Tajuana has the heart of an entrepreneur and the spirit to follow her vision. She is the author of “The Genesis of Trade Secrets: The Secrets of Success as a Celebrity Hair Stylist in the Beauty and Entertainment Industry”.
